      Kenneth R. Yecker, 82, of 293 Pleasant Valley Drive, Leola, died Wednesday morning at Moravian Manor, Lititz, after a long illness.
      Yecker was a dealer for Fuller Brush Co. for most of his working life. He first worked at the former Eagle Picture, New Holland, as an installer and salesman. He last was a maintenance worker at Lampeter-Strasburg School District, retiring in 1984.
      A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II and belonged to American Legion Post 34.
      He was a graduate of Franklin & Marshall Academy.
      A member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, he was an usher and belonged to Knights of Columbus, Lancaster Council.
      He was a former Meals on Wheels volunteer.
      Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Raymond P. and Adella Metz Yecker.
      He was married 50 years to June Wiggins Yecker.
      Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Judith Y., married to David Trost of New Holland, and Linda Y., married to Rodney Gnau of York; two sons, Thomas K., married to Connie Yecker of Conestoga, and Raymond E., married to Anne Yecker of Brownstown; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles M. of Okecheebee, Fla., and Paul E. of Lancaster; and a sister, Doris Resh of Lancaster.--
