      FLORA ARMINTA STERNE, daughter of Sampson and Margaret Freeze, was born near Sinking Springs, Ohio, July 17, 1876. At her death, she was 74 years and 12 days of age. On December 30, 1892, she was united in marriage to James W. Miller, who died the following year. One son, Grover Fenton Miller, was born to them, and he died at the age of 16 years. She was a member of the Straight Crrek Church of the Brethren. In the year of 1898, she was united in marriage to James Sterne, who died February 7, 1947. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Dessie Post;two grandchildren, Lester Sterne and Mrs. Mildred Gustin; three brothers, carey, Jacob, and Wrenza; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Rolf, Mrs. Amanda Smith, and Mrs. Ona Swan. Four brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. - Defender, 09-07-1950
