    HAMILTON, Paul G. Age 79 of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at Bellbrook Rehab and Health Center after an extended illness. Paul was preceded in death by mother Mary (Shoemaker) Hamilton, father Claude Hamilton, brothers Frank and Robert and sister Anna Lee (Hamilton) Meehan. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Nina (Crawford) Hamilton; daughter and son-in-law Kathleen (Hamilton) and Robert Fite and granddaughter Kristen of Cincinnati; son and daughter-in-law
    Kenneth and Kim (Murbach) Hamilton and granddaughters Chandra and Kara and grandson Tyler of Oakwood; daughter Sue Ellen (Hamilton) and Daniel Tong and grandsons Joshua, Zachary and Noah of Mason; sister Mary Ruth (Hamilton) Hauke of Sardinia; sister-in-law Mary Hamilton of Kettering; a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was an Air
    Force veteran of WWII serving overseas in India receiving the Bronze Star, Good Conduct, Presidential Distinguished Unit and Victory medals. He retired from NCR after 32 years of service then subsequently retired after 10 years of service from the Dayton Mental Health Hospital. He was a long-time member of Corinth Presbyterian Church, and a respected member of the Millennium Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. His courage, loyalty, humor and determination will serve as a legacy to all who knew him. The family
    would like to thank the staff of Bellbrook Rehab and Health Center for their loving care during Paul's final days. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 28, 2004 at Corinth Presbyterian Church 4269 Corinth Blvd. Dayton, OH 45410. Friends may call at the church prior to the service (from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM). In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to Corinth Presbyterian Church or the Charity of your choice.

    William received a deed ( Deed Boook 2. page 111 ) on 13 March 1806 for 75
    acres of land he inherited from his father, Thomas ( Hambleton ) Hamilton.
    On September 7 1808, William sold the 75 acres for $450.00 ( Deed Book 2
    page 370 ). In the deed recording the sale, William's wife was identified as
    Elizabeth, and the couple was listed as living in Adams Co. Ohio in 1808.
    The marriage records in Harrison Co. ,Kentucky list the marriage of a
    William Hamilton to an Elizabeth Bever( Bevers, Beaver, Beavers ) on January
    31, 1803. The marriage license was cosigned by Mathias Bever Jr. who appears
    to have been a brother of Elizabeth.

    According to the Harrison Co. tax records, the Bever family was one of the
    neighbors of the Hamilton family. From other recods, it appears that several
    members of the Bever family had moved to Adams Co. Ohio, and William and
    Elizabeth Hamilton also moved there along with her relatives.

    William and Elizabeth Hamilton are both buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery
    in Adams Co., Ohio. William died December 22,1857 at the age of 79 years 4
    months, 28 days. Elizabeth died on January 13, 1858 at the age 77 years, 4
    months, and 29 days.
